Most beautiful sunset I've ever seen!
Adam and I were driving through the country when we saw the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. Being the awesome boyfriend that he is, he pulled into a cotton field so I could get some shots!

I'm still here!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a LONG time! I guess I need to catch you up on whats been going on. Adam has started fixing up old bikes. So the other day we decided to ride two of the old bikes around the town square...and of course I wanted to do a little photo shoot of the bikes. Adam is definitely developing an eye for photos so he was a huge help! He had some great ideas and we got some awesome pics. Apparently we weren't the only ones who thought my old blue cruiser was pretty. A photographer doing some engagement photos actually stopped and asked if she could borrow the bike for a few shots. Here is one of her shots.
And here are a few of mine.
Adam spends a lot of time in his shop working on his bikes and trucks. I've been wanting to play with the lighting and do a shot in there for a little bit. I finally got a shot almost like what I had in mind.
Hopefully the next time I post won't be a few months from now :)

Exploring TN
For Adam's birthday we like to take a daytrip to Nashville. We always take the long way and explore the towns along the way. The best part is that nothing ever goes as planned. Last year we had to dodge a tornado and I had a wasp crawl up my pants leg. Thankfully it didn't sting me! This year I was in charge of the map, so of course we got lost! But sometimes getting lost leads to a lot of fun! Here are some of the pics I took along the way.

Just Observing
I took these at Adam's shop about 2 weeks ago. In case you haven't noticed, I have a thing for taking pics of nature and old stuff.
I love to take pictures of nature. It was on a hike when I was young when I first decided that I believed in God. I always think of the verse that says
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

Random Explorations
I took all of these pictures on a walk with Adam. I'm honestly not really sure where we were but we had fun walking through the water and just exploring. Adam even tried to catch a fish with his hands! I can't decide which one of these pictures is my favorite. I love them all!

On the Reservation
This picture is actually over a year and a half old but I couldn't resist posting. I took this in June of 2008 on a Navajo reservation in Arizona. I LOVE the colors and the horse. I've always dreamed of blowing this picture up and framing it somewhere :)
The Navajo people are amazing and stole my heart pretty much immediately.

I mean, how could you not love these kids?!

Bridge of Possibilities
I took this picture at Big Hill State Park. I love to hike here and the bridge is one of my favorite places. The bridge curving and going out of view makes me thnk alot about where my life will lead and the path it has already taken. The boards are covered with moss and falling apart. Some of them have been replaced and some have a mesh over them to prevent you from slipping. It says alot about life. Somethings have to be changed and some are worth holding on to.

One Moment Can Start An Obsession...
I am in NO way a photographer, but I like to record the things that I see. I'm starting this blog to share some of my pictures with you!
This is Cooper. This little guy showed up at my boyfriend's house and decided to stay for awhile. When he posed himself in front of an old International Scout and tires I just couldn't resist taking a shot!
